Nostalgic ramblings

As you can see, I have added a new section which is basically a collection of links to nice blogs and some of them are not purely technical or you know, boosting your productivity. However, I realized that I can't offer you much, because I actually read technical blogs only and I wanted to give you people who just write blogs about everything and nothing in leisure style which you should read without guilt-tripping yourselves, because you should have been doing something else.

THE LAST RACE!

I almost didn't take part, because my bike friend couldn't attend. I felt uneasy going alone, but it's not like we will always race together, so I should get used to that.

There was one more thing which were discouraging me from participation - weather. The race took part in the beginning October, the weather forecast was at best inconclusive. Sun, rain, wind, cold, warm, everything at once or nothing... But I convinced myself I need to practice riding in such not-so-nice conditions.

Robinsonada Łódzka - 98km race

I am really glad I participated in MTS, it gave me nice boost, I've gained some experience and I was pretty sure I will finish 98km race in less than 4 hours. After all, Robinsonada Łódzka were organized on my turf. I know our forests and roads, so it should be a smooth sail through familiar grounds.

Well, apparently it wasn't.

First race - MTS Tarnowskie Góry

When I have started training in May with a coach, my first was supposed to be at the beginning of September in familiar surroundings of the city where I live. 90km of roads and terrain I know pretty well.

On one hand I was really unsure about myself and racing, because I did not have such experience in any sport I have undertaken so far. This didn't stop me from looking what Polish racing scene has to offer...

First month of bike trainings

It's been a month since I started training for gravel ultramarathon with a professional and there's a progress. My cadence has gotten way better and I even improved my heart rate. Cadence is my main problem - it's just too low, but according to my trainer I quickly achieved better one.

I really wanted to write this post about my small bike retreat, but of course I started having lots of ideas how to tackle it, what kind of photos I want to show you, what’s the best format and so on and so forth… So here I’m trying to actually write anything.
